Market Search
A strong understanding of the market is essential for building a successful business. Before engaging potential customers, entrepreneurs should conduct secondary market research to evaluate market size, customer segments, industry trends, competitors, and commercialization opportunities.
TEDCO’s Market Search service provides Maryland entrepreneurs with access to market intelligence resources that help validate market opportunities, strengthen business plans, improve the competitiveness of SBIR/STTR proposals, support successful commercialization, and prepare for additional non-dilutive and private funding opportunities.
GlobalData Database
TEDCO provides access to the database free-of-charge to eligible entrepreneurs.
Through this program, participating companies will receive one year of complimentary access to GlobalData’s suite of powerful market intelligence tools. This includes the GlobalData Explorer and Explorer AI Hub, offering deep insights into market trends, competitors, and innovation landscapes. Participants will also have access to the Disruptor Intelligence Center and its AI Hub, providing forward-looking analysis on emerging technologies, startups, and disruptive business models. These resources are designed to support strategic planning, commercialization efforts, and SBIR/STTR proposal development; click here to learn more about the program.
