Higher Medicine Takes Aim at Brain Disorders
Higher Medicine was founded in 2025 to address pediatric and neurodegenerative disorders. Toward this goal, Leo Kim — a neuroscientist with a PhD from the University of Pennsylvania — set his sights first on Kabuki syndrome, a rare genetic disorder characterized by intellectual disability, growth issues and a myriad of other difficult symptoms.
