State-affiliated early-stage investor TEDCO named its FY2025 board of directors, which includes College of Southern Maryland Vice President Ellen Flowers-Fields as its new chair. TEDCO also named Abishek Kulshreshtha the new executive director of the Maryland Innovation Initiative.

TEDCO, Maryland’s economic engine for technology companies, Monday announced the organization’s board of directors elected new executive officers and welcomed four new members for its fiscal year 2025 board.
Hundreds of bills that were passed by Maryland lawmakers in session this year will become law in on July 1, covering everything from banning vaping indoors to benefits for uniformed service members and diversity efforts in higher education.
TEDCO, Maryland’s economic engine for technology companies, announced the 2024 Maryland Makerspace Initiative Program (“Makerspace Program”) awardees. Funding will be awarded to 18 projects spanning across nine (9) counties and Baltimore City.

The Maryland Innovation Initiative (MII), an independent unit within TEDCO, has appointed Abishek Kulshreshtha as its new executive director. Effective July 1, 2024, Kulshreshtha will lead MII’s efforts to promote the commercialization of research from Maryland’s academic institutions.
